FEHMARNBELT FIXED LINK PROJECT, DENMARK

NRS AS supplied 5xsets of LAUNCHING SCAFFOLDING (LASCA) to Femern Link Contractors (FLC). The NRS team is also responsible for the execution of the LASCA operational activities  at site.

The LASCA is a steel structure used as access and support platform for the assembly of the walls and top reinforcement of the Standard Tunnel Element for the construction of Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link Project (FFL), consisting of a motorway and rail connection including a 18 km long tunnel that will allow travelling faster and safer between Scandinavia and continental Europe.

The FFL will be the world’s longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic.
